Good writing is rewriting... For what it's worth, the writing that follows is first draft -- not good writing. My first drafts always entail too many words... Perhaps someday, I will have the time to weave these words into good writing. For now, I'll attempt to capture the blurry snapshots before they fade into the abyss of time...
